We offer a variety of services to meet your workforce needs. We help you find high quality employees, keep good employees on the job, upgrade the skills of current employees, assist you through downsizing, participate in career fairs and provide you with the most current industry and labor market information. If you don't find the service you need listed here, contact us and we'll try to accommodate your request. email your request . Labor Market Information

We provide you with the up-to-date labor market, demographic, and industry information you need to manage your business well. This information is available to you through Oregon's largest and most comprehensive employment-related date center: the State of Oregon's Employment Department. This extensive labor market information is offered at no cost. Knowledgeable and helpful research staff can also be contacted via the website www.olmis.org for assistance in finding information and resources.

Training and Educational Services

We also provide a variety of training and educational services to enhance the skills of prospective and current employees. Services are individualized to meet your specific needs and may include the following:

  • Development and delivery of pre-employment skill training
  • Connection with an existing course or degree program
  • On-site customized training
  • Development of specialized long or short-term proprietary curriculum
In addition, English-as-a-Second-Language (ESL) and ADA specialists are also available to assist with job site analysis and help solve special workforce needs. Through foundational skill building, we will enable your employees to fully contribute to your company's success. Some examples of training services include:
  • Basic math, reading, and writing instruction
  • English-as-a-Second-Language instruction
  • Technical training
  • Computer software and internet instruction
  • Management and professional development courses: e.g. leadership, management, human resources
  • Specialized training courses: e.g. computer support technician training, health care training, math upgrade for employees in the semiconductor industry

Downsizing and Outplacement Services

Managing the process of downsizing and transition is easier when experienced professionals assist you. Employee assessment, training, and placement services are offered to businesses that are affected by downsizing.

We are dedicated to preparing job seekers in making an effective transition to a new job or career. We deliver world-class services to assist you in your downsizing efforts. These services are:

      On-the-Job Training - A Profitable Partnership

    Good news for Employers - OJT can save you Time, Trouble, & Money!

    With the help of the WIA OJT Program, you can hire eligible individuals you will train to meet your company's specific needs. The trainee learrns your procedures and requirement using tools and equipment required on the job. The employee will learn the job while engaged in productive work.

    WIA reimburses employers upto 50% of a trainee's wages during the period of time required for proficiency (three months or less) in the occupation.
