THE WAIT LIST
Each time you make a referral entry, the system automatically codes the entry
with a number a
date
and a time. You will not see this
information on the screen where you make your referral
entry.
Upon
entering a referral, the system will add your client’s name to a listing of
clients awaiting entry into
class. The system will display a number next to each client’s name.
This number represents the client’s
place on the list. Your client’s name will remain on a Class Wait List until
the client is enrolled into the
class by classroom support staff or is removed from the wait list due to
another reason.
Because
some classes may have waiting lists, we must keep track of which client is
next on the list to
be given
the first available seat. Training
slots are offered on a first come first served basis based on
program
seat availability. Entry into a
training class is dependent upon how many program clients are
ahead of
your client on the waiting lists. The auto number assigned to your referral
entry is used to mark
when you
made the referral and saves a place on the waiting list for your client.

your client’s status on a waiting list, click onto one of the navigation
buttons on the Career
Specialist’s
