We offer a variety of services to meet your workforce needs. We help you find high quality employees, keep
good employees on the job, upgrade the skills of current employees, assist you through downsizing, participate in career fairs and provide you with the most current industry and labor market information. Recruitment and Screening
We offer screening and recruitment services to help you find qualified employees when you need them. These services are tailored to your needs to be as general or intensive as you desire.
Through our consortium, we are able to advertise your job openings to thousands of job seekers both locally and throughout the state. To advertise your openings, each consortium member posts the job opening for customers who come to their office. In some cases an additional promotional activity such as an "Employer Presentation" recruitment event is warranted.
More intensive screening and recruitment services are also available for a fee. We will screen and test potential employees for you to help you find qualified employees.
The screening services we offer include:
- Drug and alcohol screening
- Criminal background checks
- Screening for qualifications before referral
The testing services we offer include:
- Aptitude testing (e.g. COPS, CAPS)
- English language comprehension and speaking test
- Keyboarding
- Meyers-Briggs personality test
We also offer "targeted recruitment" services to employers who want to find qualified employees for open positions. A targeted recruitment is an enhanced recruitment and screening service. Positions advertised through this service are prioritized with our placement staff and candidates are closely screened and tested using criteria developed with you. Once applicants have been screened and tested, the "finalists" are referred to the company for interviews and hiring selection.

Labor Market Information
We provide you with the up-to-date labor market, demographic, and industry information you need to manage your business well. This information is available to you through Oregon's largest and most comprehensive employment-related date center: the State of Oregon's Employment Department. This extensive labor market information is offered at no cost. Knowledgeable and helpful research staff can also be contacted via the website www.olmis.org for assistance in finding information and resources.

Training and Educational Services
We also provide a variety of training and educational services to enhance the skills of prospective and current employees. Services are individualized to meet your specific needs and may include the following:
- Development and delivery of pre-employment skill training
- Connection with an existing course or degree program
- On-site customized training
- Development of specialized long or short-term proprietary curriculum
In addition, English-as-a-Second-Language (ESL) and ADA specialists are also available to assist with job site analysis and help solve special workforce needs. Through foundational skill building, we will enable your employees to fully contribute to your company's success. Some examples of training services include:
